A circa 1925 vintage handwoven silk crepe formal crested kuro-tomesode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist dyed design, hand-painted surihaku metallic leaf accents and metallic gold couching embroidery. The black silk kimono is accented in a kiku (chrysanthemum), nejigiku (twisted chrysanthemum), and kiri (paulownia) motifs and features yuzen resist dyed kamon crest. It is lined in red silk.
