Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai wool area rug. This rug features a diamond medallion with stylized animal and floral figures to the main field, in hues of red, ivory, olive, taupe, brown, and orange. The field also has tan grounded spandrels each with a medallion and coordinating design elements from the field. Framing the field is a main carnation meander border, and a sawtooth minor border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
