Antique Hand-Painted M. Redon Limoges Porcelain Plates featuring Game Birds
Item Details
A selection of three antique M. Redon Limoges porcelain plates. The pieces feature three different hand-painted game birds to the mottled blue and pink wells surrounding by bright blossoms and thick gilt leaves below the cobalt blue verges with a repeating gilt floral pattern under the scalloped rims. The pieces bear ‘M. Redon Limoges Special’ and ‘MR France’ marks to the underside placing production circa 1906. The company formally known as Martial Redon was renamed Le Porcelaine Limousine in 1906.
