Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Kolyai wool long rug. This rug features a pole of stepped diamond medallions infilled with stylistic floral forms in a palette of red, light blue, camel, gray, ivory, and black. The pole is enclosed with crenelated edges in alternating light blue and camel grounds. It has a deep blue grounded main border with highly geometric floral designs, flanked by carnation meander guard borders over camel. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Made in Iran’.
