Circa 1900 Antique Handwoven Silk Damask Kimono
Item Details
A circa 1900 antique Japanese handwoven silk damask kimono, hand decorated with shibori tie-dyed design. This emerald green kiku (chrysanthemum), nadeshiko (Dianthus), tsuzumi (hand drum) and other patterned damask silk features a white and yellow mizutama (water drops/polka dots) motif. Two-tone red silk lines the interior and cherry red silk lines the sleeves.

- staining to one sleeve, few loose threads to reverse.
