A circa 1900 antique Japanese handwoven silk crepe damask kimono, hand decorated with stencil-dyed design. This red kusudama (decorative ball), kiri (paulownia), kiku (chrysanthemum), take (bamboo) and other botanical motifs silk damask kimono features white kumo (clouds) filled with red and light blue accented kiri and red hued ume (plum) motifs. Also, white on red botan (peony) and kiku bouquets and large yellow, grey accented tachibana and different combinations of red, white and grey nejigiku (twisted chrysanthemum) and kiku. It is lined in red and pink silk crepe.
