Item Details
A circa 1915 antique Japanese handwoven silk crepe formal crested furisode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist dyed design and embroidered accents. This multicolored kimono has an elaborate design featuring kasamatsu (pine), kawa (river), kamon (crests), gosho guruma (ox-drawn Imperial carts) and floral motifs. The motifs are accented with kanoko, kikko (tortoiseshell) and karahana (Chinese flower) patterns. It is lined in silk and yuzen resist dyed silk crepe.
