A collection of antique porcelain shaving mugs. Personalized/Occupational mugs were popular at the turn of the century, where each patron of a barber shop had his own mug. One mug features are bird design, personalized J.M. Strickler. There is also a elk design (BPOE) personalized Dr. Miller, and a floral design, personalized Wm Franke. Mugs include gold accents to the rim, handles and foot. Marks for Charles Field Haviland/Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel and the retailer E. Berninghaus, Cincinnati, OH.
