A hand-knotted Persian Malayer carpet runner. This wool pile rug features a central medallion on a field with a herati design in hues of taupe, beige, grey, ecru, rust red, pale blue, and brown. It has a main border with meandering florets and serrated leaves. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. It bears a label to the reverse.
