Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar area rug. This wool pile rug features a geometric medallion with a hooked edge and stylized florets to the main field in a color palette of dark blue and red with brown, pink, and green accents. The borders feature serrated leaves and meandering flowers and lead to short cotton warp fringe at either end and overcast selvedges. A label to reverse reads ‘Made in Iran’.
