Japanese Meiji Period Cloisonné Teapot
Item Details
An antique Japanese cloisonné teapot. Featured is a brass teapot decorated in bright blue and dark green enamel accented with bright butterfly and floral patterns in shades of red, light blue, and yellow. A dotted pattern adorns the elongated spout, curved handle, and rims while the domed lid presents a gadrooned finial. The teapot rests on three triangular feet. It was produced during the Meiji period (1868-1912).
