Item Details
A circa 1900s antique Japanese handwoven silk crepe formal crested furisode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist dyed design and metallic gold couching embroidery. This kimono features momiji (autumn leaves), peacock, sasanoha (leaves of bamboo grass), kawa (river), yama (mountain) and architectural motifs. It presents a yuzen resist dyed kamon crest and is lined in silk and yuzen resist dyed silk crepe.
Condition
- to Fair; interior lining discolored throughout, stain to kimono front, few loose threads at seams.
