A fine hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz silk blend rug. The rug is crafted with a wool and silk blended pile. The rug displays a white central medallion, black lozenge field and muted yellow spandrels. Each aspect of the field is decorated with a traditional Herati motif. The field is surrounded by sawtooth minor borders and a Herati principal border. Either end is finished with overcast edges and cotton warp fringe.
