Hand-Knotted Persian Lilihan Wool Carpet Runner

Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Lilihan carpet runner. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of deep red and orange, medium blue, hues of tan, and ivory accents. The elongated field features an allover lattice of stylized herati. Framing the field are reciprocal guard borders and a primary border comprised of a floral meander. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. A label to the reverse reads ‘Made in Iran’.
