Circa 1910s Antique Handwoven Silk Formal Crested Furisode Kimono

A circa 1910s late Meiji period (1868-1912) antique Japanese handwoven silk formal crested furisode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist-dyed design and embroidered accents. This deep purple kimono features brown and brightly green hued kasamatsu (pine) and cerulean blue and aqua seigaiha (wave) motifs. It includes five yuzen resist-dyed white mon crest, two to the front and three to the back. The lower portion of the interior is lined in the same decorated silk of the interior, red silk partially lines the interior and red silk fully lines the sleeves.
