A vintage hand-knotted Bakhshayesh Heriz carpet runner. This wool pile rug features polyagonal medallions in camel, ivory, green, rust red, and salmon with powder blue palmette pendants. The elongated field is populated with inward facing floral and foliate patterns, and is framed by a dark red main border showcasing a samovar motif. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges, a brief kilim skirt, and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
