A vintage hand-knotted Bakhshayesh Heriz carpet runner. This wool pile rug features diamond medallions with stylized floral vines and a crenellated edge in shades of burnt orange, burgundy, tan, ivory, deep blue, salmon, pale blue, and teal. Framing the field is a samovar primary border. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges, a kilim skirt, and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
