A hand-knotted Persian Karaja Heriz carpet runner. This wool pile rug features stepped diamond medallions with stylized florets and multiple borders of repeating floral designs. It has a faded color palette of brown, camel, ivory, forest green, magenta, and pale blue. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. A label to the reverse reads ‘Made in Iran’.
