Item Details
A antique hand-knotted Persian Sarouk accent rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in deep reds, blues, and browns with pale pink, ochre, and ivory accents. It is centered with a floral medallion, while the field features a pattern of floral racemes and foliate swags. Framing the field are geometric guard borders and a primary border comprised of a carnation meander. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges that have been reinforced and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
