A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz area rug. This rug has a geometric medallion in hues of cornflower blue, deep blue, dusty rose, burgundy, grey, and avocado, against a cream ground with evenly spaced palmettes and vines. The main border has a Herati design, flanked by taupe or beige guard stripes. The rug is finished with short cotton warp fringe.
