A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz area rug. This rug features a geometric medallion with rectilinear flowers and vines on a burnt orange to rust red ground, having cream spandrels with partial medallions. The main dark blue border depicts a stylized Herati motif and is flanked by cream guard stripes. This rug is finished in short cotton warp fringe on kilim strips.
