A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar wool long rug. This rug is rendered in a slight abrashed palette of hot pink, royal blue, black, red, and grey. The red field features a cobalt colored lozenge with a hexagonal medallion ending in arrows, while accompanied by leaf motifs. Rosettes, leaves, and partial medallions cap the serrated lozenge. Framing the field is a main black grounded border along with a floral meander guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends.
