Antique Chinese Hand Painted Floor Vase

Item Details

An antique hand painted Chinese floor vase. This substantial vessel features a flared mouth and elongated neck accented with applied handles in high relief. The slender body is hand-painted with exterior features layers of floral motifs and a central image of women gathered around a tree and water, to the back is a poetic inscription. A wax export seal is affixed to the underside, otherwise unmarked. Late Qing dynasty (1644-1911) or early Republic period (1912-1949).
