A Victorian walnut mirror-back sideboard, circa 1870. This sideboard is made in two pieces. The top is designed with a central pediment with a carved green man, shell, and scrolled leaves and berries. The pediment and side shelves are supported by block and turned columns with reeded details and corinthian column and drop finial details. Below the center mirror is a carved panel with urn and scrolled leaves. The bottom section is designed with three drawers over a small cupboard and open shelf under the center cupboards. The piece features hand carved scroll leaf and urn detailing to the cupboard doors, fluted supports, heavy cast brass bail pulls and the acorn style feet.
