Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Afghani Turkoman runner. This rug features a navy field ornamented with deep crimson geometric patterning with ecru and umber accents surrounding soumak woven diamond medallions arranged in a row along the center. The field is bound by a diagonally striped border followed by a zigzagging trim. The rug is finished along the ends with a long kilim edge and natural warp fringe, and along the sides with double-wrapped selvedges.
