A Herschede Lady Beth grandfather clock. This clock has a cherry finished case with a molded curved bonnet supported by side columns flanking the face. It has a glass front door with brass toned hardware rising on a plinth base with carved bracket feet. The gold and silver colored metal face displays Arabic numbers, openwork hands, scrolling accents, and a Tempus Fugit mark to the top, as well as ‘Herschede’ to the face. The door house the weights, and it is labeled by ‘The Clock Doc’ with service dates, along with the maker’s label ‘Lady Beth No. 627’.
