Circa 1925 Vintage Handwoven Silk Haori Jacket
Item Details
A circa 1925 vintage Japanese handwoven silk haori jacket, hand decorated in shibori resist-dyed design. This teal jacket features a flower motif with indigo accented magenta petals and yellow centers, forming a diamond pattern and a yellow and teal kanoko motif forming a zig-zag pattern. The kimono has fuchsia haori-himo and is partially lined in off-white silk presenting a yuzen resist-dyed tonal kanoko and navy, yellow, light green and orange take motifs in a yamagata (mountain-chevron) pattern.
