A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Tabriz rug. This rug features a vignette of alternating diamond-shaped medallions in cobalt and crimson with cream crenelated trim, each containing floral motifs in tangerine, moss green, and umber. The center field is bound by a resolved principal border containing stylized organic motifs and is flanked by unresolved principal borders in coordinating colors. The rug is finished with a double-wrapped selvedge along the sides and a natural warp fringe along the ends.
