A vintage lanscape oil on canvas board by Georges LaChance (listed Indiana artist, 1888 – 1964). This impressionist piece depicts a tree-lined landscape with hills in the background in a palette of bright colors. It is signed to the lower left corner and presented framed under mat and glass. LaChance was a resident of Brown County, Indiana, studied at the St. Louis Art School and was a member of the Hoosier Salon. His works have been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago and Chicago’s Marshall Field Gallery.
