Item Details

A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Sarouk runner. This rug features a light indigo field containing a mirrored arrangement of vining organic motifs in scarlet, aqua, cream, royal blue, and petal pink, which surround a geometric medallion containing floral motifs. The rug has four small corner spandrels, beyond which are two minor borders followed by a resolved principal border containing abstract motifs in coordinating colors, followed by an additional minor border. The rug is finished with a natural warp fringe at the ends and a single-wrapped selvedge along the sides.
