A vintage hand-knotted Persian Everu area rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a variegated palette of madder red, indigo, cerulean, olive, buff, and ivory. The elongated field features an allover lattice of stylized boteh in alternating directions. Framing the field is a single border comprised of a boteh motif over madder red. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. A label to the reverse reads ‘Made in Iran’.
