Garo Antreasian attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis and received his undergraduate degree from the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis. He went on to study printmaking with Will Barnett at the Art Students League in New York. Antreasian eventually became an innovator in the printmaking technique of lithography and became the first technical director for Tamarind Lithography. Antreasian exhibited his work at the U.S. Pavillion at the Venice Biennale and has works in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, as well as New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
