An original 1959 watercolor painting by listed African-American Cincinnati artist Davira Fisher (1918-1986), titled Small View Into the Distance. Fisher was known for both her paintings and her bold and energetic woodcut prints, many of them of the Mount Adams neighborhood in Cincinnati. This watercolor depicts an expansive rooftop view of a sprawling city. The painting is signed and dated to the lower right. The artist’s business card attached to the verso, along with a wire for hanging.
