A hand knotted Pakistani Kazak wool carpet runner. The runner features five serrated diamond medallions in a palette of taupe, cream, and black on a carnation field with corner spandrels and geometric decoration around the interior edge. Framing the field is an unresolved major border featuring alternating boxed florets and geometric Shirvan-style bracket motifs. The rug is finished with hand overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe. It is unmarked.
