A hand-knotted Northwest Persian wool runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of red, blue, ivory, tan, and pink. The field features a pole of five serrated hexagonal medallions each infilled and surrounded with rosettes, while ending in pendants, and enclosed by small spandrels with an arrow motif. Framing the field is a main ivory grounded floral meander, as well as Hamadan guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
