A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Isfahan wool rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, blue, brown, aqua, and magenta. The ivory colored field begins with a central diamond pendant medallion enclosed by coordinating spandrels with a pale blue ground.The field is populated with scrolling vine-work with added palmettes and lancet leaves throughout. Framing the field is a main stylized herati border, along with floral guard and minor borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
