La Gloriette Noah's Ark Porcelain Trinket Box
Item Details
A hand-painted Limoges porcelain trinket box by La Gloriette. Featured is a box in the form of Noah’s Ark with a variety of figural animals surrounding Noah on the top deck and molded faces in the portholes of the hull above foaming waves. Seahorse closures adorn the beaded rims to either side with hinged compartments revealing people and animals to the interior. The piece bears a maker’s mark to the underside beside ‘Peint main Limoges France.’
