Item Details
A vintage power-loomed Ege Axminster area rug. This wool pile rug is worked in a polychrome palette of orange, cobalt, green, deep reds, and ivory and is from the “Ege Art Line” collection. The ivory field showcases a reproduction of the 1985 abstract oil painting Apollon by Danish artist Peter Brandes (b. 1944). The piece is finished with serged selvedges which have been reinforced at both short ends. A label to the reverse reads “Made in Denmark”.
