Antique Unger Brothers "Loves Dream" Sterling Lidded Cut Crystal Vanity Jar

An antique vanity jar in the Loves Dream pattern by Unger Brothers, active from 1872 until 1914 in Newark, New Jersey. This cut crystal jar features a repoussé sterling silver lid that depicts a sleeping man being visited by a cherub between scrolling foliate motif framing. The sterling lid is engraved with the initials ‘HJR’, and has an approximate weight of 2.790 ozt.
