A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai wool rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of red, gray, orange, ivory, and green. The red hued field features two poles of hooked diamond medallions, along with rectilinear floral motifs, and smaller medallions. Framing the field is a main ivory grounded bracket border, as well as geometric guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool with goat hair warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
