Hand-Knotted Persian Qashqai Wool Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai wool rug. The rug features three diamond medallions each with a geometric leaf shape to the center in a palette of dark blue, pink, and taupe on a red field. The field is populated with floral and leaf motifs and is framed within a compound border including a repeating geometric pattern to the main border on a cream ground. The rug is finished with hand overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe. No maker’s marks or tags are present.
