A sign from the former Washington, D.C. area restaurant, Blackie’s. This wooden crossed sign featured lettering that reads ‘Welcome to my Friends That Sit at This Table’. The sign used to sit above the bar and was sold in auction after its closing. Blackie’s operated from 1925 to 2006.
