An early 20th century bas relief plaster plaque by Cincinnati artist Clara Philbin (1875-1944). The plaque depicting the profile of a young girl facing right with long hair, signed in the plaster by the artist in the lower right corner.

Clara Philbin studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati from 1897 – 1908 under the tutelage of renown sculptor Clement John Barnhorn (1857-1935), then exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts between the years of 1908-1911.

Condition

- old minor chips at bottom edge, they do not deter from sculpture
