A 19th century Swiss cylinder mandoline music box. This antique music box features inlaid floral patterns of rosewood to the lid of the hinged mahogany case. It offers a brass and steel comb advertised to play four airs, a brass winding arm, and dual purpose levers for stop, play and change, repeat operations. The piece retains a partial hand-written label which includes the musical playlist.
