A child’s circa 1900 antique Japanese handwoven cotton winter kasuri juban kimono, hand decorated in red, pink and grey threads. This black kimono presents a flowering arabesque pattern featuring bara ni karakusa (rose with vines) flowers with with diamond, kanoko and other patterns and a solid black tomoeri (neckband). It is lined in red cotton with a multicolored hagi (bush clover) leaf motif to the edge.
