A boys’ circa 1920 vintage handwoven silk miyamairi (first shrine visit) infant kimono. This kimono features a yuzen hand painted resist-dyed design and gold leaf accents. The piece showcases a multi-colored tsuru (crane), matsu (pine) and take (bamboo) motif, and is lined in white silk.
Condition
- to Fair: faint staining to one tie, basting stitches beginning to come loose, light yellow stain to interior lining, loose thread on one sleeve seam.
