A hand knotted Persian Qahqai wool rug. The rug features an ivory field populated with rows of boteh in alternating tan and cream. It has a compound border including a repeating geometric motif main border on a black ground and barber pole minor borders. The rug is finished with hand overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe. It has no maker’s marks or tags.
