A fine hand-knotted Persian Nain silk and wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, red, powder blue, brown, indigo, sky, and wine. The crisp ivory colored field begins with a round star pendant medallion with coordinating field. Framing the field is a compound border. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges, and an ivory warp fringe to the ends, as well as sewn on vinyl bands to the underside edges.
