A unique wooden rocking cat, attributed to American sculptor Gywnn Murrill (b. 1942). The rocking cat is sculpted to accentuate the grain of the wood, wearing a saddle at the back with deep amber glass eyes and is whimsically depicted with a fish in it’s mouth.

Gwynn Murrill received her MFA at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has exhibited extensively, won numerous awards and is known for her animal sculptures.
