1830 Edward Farrell English Sterling Silver Engraved Footed Salver

An antique sterling silver presentational footed salver by silversmith Edward Farrell of London, England. The salver features a rocaille style design with scroll-and-shell motif trim, four scrolled shell motif feet, and chased floral patterning to its top surface that frames a personalized engraving to its center. It is hallmarked to its underside and additionally marked with a passant sterling fineness mark, a London leopard’s head city mark, a letter ‘p’ date mark, and a King George IV duty mark. This piece has an approximate weight of 71.367 ozt.
